Gleaners Community Food Bank will present a free six-week cooking class series for children ages 8 to 12. Classes will include hands-on cooking demonstrations using several recipes and will be held, Fridays, June 21 through August 2 (with the exception of July 5), from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Children will learn healthy snack ideas, taste samples, and receive a free cookbook. Children who attended a previous Cooking Matters for Kids class are not eligible.
This program will be held in the Busch Branch Library at 23333 Ryan Road, 2 blocks north of 9 Mile Road.
