DDA Project – Warren Towne Center

The City of Warren has exciting news to share regarding the Warren Towne Center. Watch this video for a brief overview of the development, implementation and other plans for this 60,000 square foot Towne Center which will be located in the heart of the City of Warren. Retail, dining, state-of-the-art lofts and much more are in store for all Warren residents to enjoy. Mayor Fouts, together with Hank Riberas from the DDA, Mr. Gibbs from Gibbs Planning Group, and others will give details on this exciting transformational plan for the downtown area.

The City of Warren has been working with Barton Malow Construction, which uses cutting edge LIFTbuild technology. This new construction concept is more efficient and safer. Plus, an award-winning firm, Rabun Architects, will be working with Marriot to construct a beautiful hotel with an automotive theme. Papa Joes will be developing the retail for an upscale grocery store, and Flaherty & Collins is working on multi-family developments.

Warren is focusing on Towne Centers, which are popular because they provide urbanism and walkability for residents. This new Towne Center will be an exciting addition to Warren. It will help improve quality of life for Warren residents, and when completed, will create about $2.4 million annually in additional property taxes and 700 new permanent jobs in Warren. This is a $170 million project that will employ 1,000 new construction and temporary jobs during its execution.

Developers are looking forward to having a fully developed agreement for this project by the end of the year.
