Monster Mash Bash Hosted by the Warren Civic Theatre, October 20 at the City Hall Atrium from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Harvest Treat on Saturday, Oct. 20, noon-3 p.m. at Warren City Square (on Van Dyke, north of 12 Mile Road.) Harvest Treat is a free community event jam packed with fun activities for the entire family.

STEAM Saturdays: Creatures of the Night. October 20 2:00 PM Warren Public Library – Civic Center. Ever wonder what goes bump in the night in Michigan backyards? The Howell Nature Center will bring nocturnal animals, such as an owl, opossum, or flying squirrel, so children can learn more about their behavior and adaptations. Crafts After School: Halloween Warren Public Library – Maybelle Burnette Branch October 23 4:30 PM. This month we will make Halloween themed crafts at our after school drop-in program. Registration is not required.

Halloween Storytime Warren Public Library – Maybelle Burnette Branch Ages 2-6 October 25 6:30 PM. Put on your Halloween costume and join us for stories, songs, rhymes, and to decorate a trick-or-treat bag. We will end our evening with a parade through the library where the children can “trick or treat” for goodies. To register, please call 586-758-2115.

Local Author Karen Dybis returns to the Miller Library on Thursday, October 25, at 6 pm to share the story of The Witch of Delray: Rose Veres & Detroit’s Infamous 1930’s Murder Mystery. Thursday, October 25, 6 pm, Miller Library. Registration required. Register here or call 586.751.5377.

Tweens and teens can join in on some Halloween fun at an after-hours lock-in at the Miller Library on Friday, October 26, from 6-8 pm with some Tricks and Treats. Tweens and teens can enjoy free pizza, treats, play Halloween games, and hunt for candy. Costumes are encouraged!

Children can stop by Civic Center, Miller Library or Busch Library to make a Halloween craft and choose a treat. Costumes are welcome! No registration is required for this drop-in program.
