Erma’s Original Frozen Custard is now open for the Season!
For over 75 years, Erma’s Original Frozen Custard has been creating summer memories for family and friends. Erma’s began back in 1942 as a small roadside stand in downtown Utica and has become a highly popular custard shop with their famous, delicious frozen custard treats.
Fast forward to 2010, Erma’s became a landmark on Auburn Road and was the first business in Shelby Township to receive historical landmark status from the township as their oldest operational business. 2010 was also the year Erma’s Original Frozen Custard opened its second location at 14 Mile and Dequindre, right here in Warren Michigan. The third location is in St. Clair Shores on Harper Avenue south of 12 Mile Road.
Erma’s offers a full variety of frozen custards, cones, sundaes, parfaits, shakes, malts, slushes, coolers, and soft drinks. They also feature three flavors of the week: a Special Flavor, a Bonus Flavor, and Erma’s Ice Flavor. Flavors range anywhere from Banana Cream Pie and Traverse City Cherry Chip to Red Velvet Cake and Bavarian Cheesecake.
