In the fall of 2021, the DDA launched the MI Warren Buy Warren program as a way to support small businesses throughout the city. Since the program was so successful, the DDA is extending their partnership with Yiftee and continuing the MI Warren Buy Warren program through most of 2022.
By partnering with Yiftee, the DDA is offering the MI Warren Buy Warren community gift card. These gift cards are purchased electronically at MIWarren.org/BuyWarren and can be used at select small businesses in Warren. As an incentive for purchasing the gift card and supporting Warren’s small businesses, the DDA is rewarding customers with a bonus gift card for 50% more. That means if you purchase a MI Warren Buy Warren gift card for $100, you will receive an additional $50 MI Warren Buy Warren gift card from the DDA. Gift cards are available in any amount up to $600 with a maximum reward of $300 per customer. Don’t worry if you already maxed out your reward amount during the first run of this program, because the limits have been reset. So, you are now eligible to purchase up to the maximum amount again. While the gift card that you purchase does not have an expiration date, the reward cards will only be valid through October 31, 2022. However, that still leaves you quite some time to use your entire reward card up. Plus, there are dozens of great businesses on the list, making it easy to use these cards to shop, eat, and support local. Check out the full list of participating businesses here.
Businesses must enroll in the MI Warren Buy Warren program in order to be able to accept the gift card, but it is free for them to join and easy to sign up. So, if you don’t see your favorite Warren small business on the list, please tell them that you would like to be able to use your MI Warren Buy Warren card at their establishment.
