MJR is Now Showing New Releases, Old Favorites, and Private Screenings

Warren’s MJR Universal Grand Cinema is once again open to the public. Under the state’s current COVID-19 orders, movie theatres are now allowed to be open. However, patrons are not allowed to consume food or drinks in the building, making for a slightly different movie-going experience. Also, many films had to halt production over the last year, so there aren’t quite as many new movies out at this time. Despite these challenges, MJR is ready to make sure that you can still have a fun night out at the theatre.

MJR Universal is currently showing a mixture of new movies and old favorites. You can see the current lineup of movies being shown here. However, in addition to regular showings, MJR now has MJR Private+ Screenings. This new offering allows you to reserve a private auditorium for you and up to 20 of your closest friends and family. The cost ranges from $99 – $149, depending on the movie that you choose. Newer releases have a higher price point, while older movies have the lower price point. Currently, the movie selections for private screenings include News of the World, Wonder Woman 1984, Croods: A New Age, Monster Hunter, Lego Movie, and The Bodyguard. MJR Digital Cinemas have many safety protocols in place to ensure that their guests and staff are safe. Masks are required at all times while in the building and seating arrangements are spaced out to allow for social distancing. Also, auditoriums are cleaned and sanitized between each showing.
