Summer vacation is almost here! If you are looking for ways to keep your kid or teen entertained this summer, check out the Warren Parks & Recreation Summer Day Camp. The camp kicks off on June 17th and runs through August 16th. You can sign up your child for a week at a time or even for the entire summer. Home base for the Summer Day Camp is at the Warren Community Center, but there will also be special field trips throughout the summer. At the Community Center, campers will get to participate in a variety of programmed activities, such as games, open recreation, crafts, movies, and more.
Camp takes place Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with Latch Key available before and after for an extra fee. Campers are grouped together by age, with Camp Funshine for kids 6-8 years old, Camp Explorer for those 9-11 years old, and Teen Camp for teens 12-14 years old. The fee for camp is $150 per child per week, with a $20 per week discount for the second child in a family. Registration is now open and is available on a first come first serve basis.
