This Saturday, September 18th, join Rock N’ Resources at Halmich Park for Celebrate Life – Keeping Kids Safe. This free event will host a variety of activities including live music, games, Narcan training, guest speakers, a diaper drive, and more. There will also be food and vendors on site.
Rock N’ Resources is a group whose goal is to “guide those who are currently struggling with addiction to a new beginning, long term recovery.” They work with the community and other organizations to bring awareness and hope to the growing opioid epidemic.
Saturday’s event will take place from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Attendees who bring diapers to donate to the diaper drive will be entered into a raffle to win one of four gift baskets.
