September is Library Card Sign-up Month

Any resident of Warren can apply for a library card. A library card is for all ages!

Here is more information from the American Library Association about Library Card Sign-up Month:

Here are some of the exciting things you can check out with a library card at the Warren Public Libraries:

•Books, Audiobooks, and Large Print Books
•ebooks and audiobooks for your phone, Kindle, or laptop (all free!) through the Libby and Hoopla apps.
•DVDs
•STEAM kits for children in grades K-5
•Early Literacy Backpacks and Tablets for children ages 2-5
•Hotspots
•Books from any library located in Macomb County through our free delivery service
•Books from other libraries in the state that participate in MeLCat – https://mel.org/welcome

Library cardholders also have access to free databases available on our website:
https://www.warrenlibrary.net/databases-alphabetical/
Popular databases include Ancestry.com, Mango Languages, and BookFlix.

We want to encourage Warren residents to get a library card and become an active user of the public library and everything it has to offer! As an incentive, any Warren resident who visits one of the four Warren Public Libraries during the month of September and checks out materials on an existing library card or opens up a new library card can enter to win a $25 Amazon gift card.
