Warren Remains Third Largest City in Michigan After 2020 Census

The results of the 2020 Census are in and Warren is still the third-largest city in Michigan by population! Every 10 years, the U.S. Census Bureau conducts a count of people living in the United States. Some cities in Michigan saw a decrease in population since 2010, while Warren saw an increase in population. According to Census data, Warren currently has a population of 139,387 which is up 4% from 2010. Warren’s neighbor to the north, Sterling Heights, followed Warren with a very close population of 134,346. The top two cities in Michigan by population are Detroit at 639,111 and Grand Rapids at 198,917.
