77th Annual Greater Detroit Gem, Mineral & Fossil Show

The Michigan Mineralogical Society’s 77th Annual Greater Detroit Gem, Mineral & Fossil Show will be a-rockin’ good time in Warren on October 7, 8, and 9, 2022.

Sponsored by Cranbrook Institute of Science, this event will have hands-on kids’ activities such as panning for real gold and digging for fossils. Plus $1 Grab Bags, a fluorescent tent display, and a free Quartz Crystal for the first 250 attendees each day!

Located at Macomb Community College, 14500 East 12 Mile Road in Warren, there will be a silent auction from Cranbrook Institute of Science and A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum. There will also be free lectures from mineral and fossil experts.

Plus, if you have a question about one of your own rocks, an expert will identify your rocks and minerals for free!

Also, there will be free wire wrapping jewelry demonstrations. And with daily door prizes of fossils, minerals, and yooperlites 40 display exhibits from museums and high-end collectors, you’re bound to be a winner at this show!

There will be more than 70 dealers of jewelry, gems, minerals, and fossils.

There’s free entrance for Veterans with ID! One-day passes for adults are $8 and kids are $4. Parking is free.
