Untangle those lights, get the inflatables ready, and start decorating! If you or your neighbor light up the block with holiday cheer, nominate a neighbor or household to win the Warren Christmas lights contest! This outdoor holiday decorating contest is a festive way to show your community pride and light up for the holiday season. Categories include: brightest, block themed, most creative, Beautification Commission’s choice and Cultural Commission’s choice. Judging of the homes will take place on Thursday, December 12th between the hours of 6:30pm and 8:30pm. Send nominations to the Warren Parks and Recreation Facebook page or email to cbarnes@cityofwarren.org. Please include a photo. Mayor Jim Fouts will present the awards at the Mayor’s office on Wednesday, December 18th at 2 p.m. Those not able to attend can pick up their awards from the Mayor’s office.
