Warren’s beloved Veterans Memorial Park now has a new feature for residents and visitors to enjoy, Disc Golf. The new course features 9 “holes” that take players throughout the park, starting and ending near the parking lot. Some “holes” along the course are in wide open areas, while others present more of a challenge in wooded areas. The course has already been getting a lot of traffic since the baskets were placed earlier this fall, and now with the signage officially in place directing players, even more have visited Veterans to enjoy this course.
If you would like to give Warren’s Disc Golf Course a try, head to Veterans Memorial Park located at 27400 Campbell Rd., located between 11 and 12 Mile and Van Dyke and Hoover, at the corner of Campbell and Martin Rd. The park is open from dawn to dusk daily and it is free to play.
