Macomb County and Michigan Schools & Government Credit Union have teamed up for the Macomb Is Open Campaign. The purpose of this project is to encourage Macomb County residents to patronize their favorite restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, wineries, bakeries, and ice cream parlors, while also helping these businesses. They are giving away twenty $1,000 grants to local food and beverage establishments, but they need your help.
To nominate your favorite food or drink establishment for the Macomb Is Open Campaign, first you have to place an order at a local establishment. Then, take a photo of your drink, treat, or meal, submit it here and share it on social media with the hashtag #MacombIsOpen. On top of possibly helping your favorite business win a $1,000 grant, you might win a $50 gift card for yourself!
