HIGH TIMES IN THE DRY TIMES

The Miller Branch Library is pleased to be hosting Lois Sprengnether Keel for an interactive look at Prohibition in the Detroit metro area on Thursday, January 19 at 6:00 pm. Participants can take a step back in time while learning how Michigan’s two-year head start led our State to provide 3/4 of the smuggled alcohol during national Prohibition.

For the full immersive experience and to add to the fun, 1920’s attire is encouraged!

Registration is required; please register online here or call the Miller Branch at 586-751-5377. This presentation will be held in the Warren Community Center Cafeteria, down the hall from the Miller library.

The Arthur Miller Branch Library is located at 5460 Arden in the Warren Community Center (between 14 Mile and Chicago, west of Mound). For more information, call (586) 751-5377.
