JUNETEENTH WITH KEFENTSE CHIKE, PH.D.

Juneteenth is the federal holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans. Join Professor of African-American Studies Kefentse Chike, PhD of Wayne State University at the Miller Branch Library on June 8, from 6:00-7:30 for an engaging presentation of the historical context and significance of Juneteenth.
