Are you interested in anime and Japanese culture? If so, Otaku Detroit is kicking off summer with a convention right here in Warren! For those who might not know, Anime is a style of Japanese film and television animation similar to a cartoon, but with visually distinct semi-realistic features. The Otaku Summer Bash is open to the public and will have gaming tournaments and free-play gaming setups! Children three and under get in free!
The Otaku Summer Bash is Saturday, June 11, 2022, from noon-7 p.m. at Beer Middle School, 3200 Martin Rd., Warren, MI 48092.
COVID-19 protocols will be in place. Masks are highly recommended. Please bring your own controls and headphones.
