Outdoor Movies at City Square: Mary Poppins Returns

Mary Poppins is back!

In 1930s London, over twenty years after visiting siblings Michael and Jane Banks (Ben Wishaw & Emily Mortimer), the magical Miss Mary Poppins (Emily Blunt) arrives just in time to help Micheal as he faces trouble at home.

Miss Poppins meets Michael’s children – Annabel, John & Georgie – and together, they embark on new adventures.

Along the way, they receive help from a lamplighter named Jack (Lin-Manuel Miranda), as well as Mary’s own cousin Topsy (Meryl Streep), to help Michael find a way to keep his home from being taken over by corrupt bank president Mr. Wilkins (Colin Firth). With appearances by Dick Van Dyke and Angela Lansbury, “Mary Poppins Returns” delivers old-time magic over fifty years in the making.

The movie will screen at dusk on Thursday, July 11 in front of City Square, located on Van Dyke (north of 12 Mile Road).
