Get your running shoes ready for the 3rd annual Run Warren 5K! Saturday, September 14. Come join other avid runners, walkers, family, and friends at Warren City Square for this USATF-certified 5K run/walk. The 5k run or walk costs $25.00, the kids’ fun run and senior walk are $5.00. Check-in time is 7:30 a.m. Other activities will begin at 9 a.m., and the 5k starts at 9:30 a.m.
The course of the race begins at city hall, past the court building, through Licht Park, around Cousino High School and ends back at Warren City Square. This race is time monitored. All costs of the race go to help groups like the Harvest Time Food Bank and the MCREST Homeless Shelter. All participants receive a free t-shirt and medal, along with water and snacks at the finish line. A $1,000 prize will be given to the area high school athletic department with the most participants and pledged support!
