Local Warren residents may recall a famous staple for coffee and donuts in the city, The Donut Factory. After 39 years, The Donut Factory on Mound Road south of 12 Mile has permanently closed its doors. Owners Tom and Lillian Taseski made a decision to sell the business over the summer after they were approached by a buyer.
With one closure comes an opportunity for a new business. The Donut Factory sold on August 5, 2021, for $600,000 for all 3 properties they owned. There’s no confirmation if the new owners plan to continue operating as The Donut Factory. Like many businesses throughout the city and our country, some thrive, and some close after a few years or a few decades. Remember that Warren has plenty of room for new business! Prime locations, great centrality, neighborhoods, and close to interstates make Warren the perfect place to open a business. If your company or family member is contemplating moving or opening a business, let Warren be your next home! Take the first steps by going to the city clerk’s page and checking out the variety of different business licenses offered in the city of Warren. Warren is ready for your new business!
