Warren Civic Theatre Celebrates 25 Years

Warren Civic Theatre is celebrating its 25th anniversary this season in big ways! Since 1994, the city’s own local stage company, led by Warren resident Greg Trzaskoma, has offered family-friendly fare from a catalog of musicals and dramas.

Beginning with its first major Broadway-style production The King & I, the WCT has added shows Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Wizard of Oz, Disney’s Beauty & The Beast, and Jesus Christ Superstar to its repertoire.

Among its non-musical dramatic entries, the Civic has brought Our Town, The Miracle Worker, and Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream to Warren audiences.

For WCT’s 25th season, Shakespeare returns with a production of Hamlet in November, followed in December by Elf The Musical Jr. In the new year (2020), the company debuts Disney’s Frozen Jr in March, and Matilda the Musical in May.

Ticket and schedule information are available at the company website.
