Sunny Fields Botanical Park

Are you ready to explore the beauty of the botanical world? The Warren Garden Club is hosting an informative program on Sunny Fields Botanical Park with Executive Director Bill Horman. Located in Emmett Township within Michigan’s beautiful Thumb area, the 40-acre property has become a premier botanical park under Horman’s leadership.

Over 1,400 different kinds of plants grow in Sunny Fields – including exotic and native specimens. The park displays lilacs, ornamental crabapples, narcissi (including daffodils), evergreens, and daylilies. The crabapple collection ranks as the region’s most diverse assortment, and the lilac collection is the most diverse in Michigan – offering six weeks of blooms annually.

The Sunny Fields Botanical Park program is Wednesday, October 12, at 6 PM, in the Warren Community Center Cafeteria, 5460 Arden Ave., Warren, MI 48092. The event is open to the public and admission is free.
